This little curiosity has been made from flattened out, recycled pennies. Texturing with old coin gives this piece a unique look.  The rich, warm, autumn colours of bronze and brass really make the stars inside stand out.

Coins: Flattened out bronze pennies textured with other pre-decimal coins. Brass three pence and bronze 1/2 penny leaves. Box size roughly 34mm by 24mm.

This piece comes on a black polyester cord made from recycled bottles, but it is a lovely little pot and ornament all on its own.
