Hedgehogs Moon Gazing Together (3D Shilling Bead)
These two spiky little critters are sitting together under the bushes enjoying glimpses of the moon through the clouds. It’s good to have someone like minded to go moon gazing with.
This piece has been hand made using traditional hand tools.
The coins used in this piece are three sterling silver shillings (pre-1920). The top and middle layers have been flattened out and then cut and engraved with traditional hand tools. The reverse of the piece is a complete shilling with little stars cut into it. With the reverse being unflattened it still has the coins date and all that lovely history on show. The piece comes on an 18inch silver (.925) chain.
