Half Penny Locket

A cute little locket to keep loved ones and memories safe. Handmade from vintage bronze coins with brass details. The domed middle and front give this piece a little cavity to set a picture within the heart, as well as a great shape and making the locket very tactile. The two brass leaves are made from a threepence coin with one working as a simple compression clasp and the other as a lever to open it with.

The coins used in this piece are three bronze half pennies and little brass threepence leaves for the compression clasp. The coins will be of random dates but will have lots of details and feature the Golden Hind (ship) on the front and a monarch on the back. This locket is around 24mm across.

The locket comes on a black polyester cord made from recycled bottles. The cord is extra long so that the piece will hang low, but can be shortened by pulling the sliding knots apart.
