Based on the original illustrations by E. H. Shepard these little artworks are carefully sketched onto the coin before being painstakingly cut with a tiny saw and hand engraved using little chisels. I love the images from the original Pooh books and something about them being on a little coin keepsake makes them extra special.

As with all my pieces, this piece has been cut and engraved by hand using traditional tools. This piece will be cut into a pre-1968 penny and comes on a black polyester cord made from recycled bottles.

Each piece is made from scratch, by Gabriel, using traditional hand tools with no casting or moulds involved, and will have its own character and be unique to you.
