One of the pound coins I recognise a lot from when I was a kid is the Celtic Cross pound coin. Each cross has been painstakingly cut around so that the cross, torc, and pimpernel flower stand out.

The old pound coin is a lovely coloured coin with a brilliant array of artworks featured on them and look fantastic when carefully cut around and hanging on a black polyester cord made from recycled bottles.
